Warranty

Products are guaranteed against fabrication defects for the period of one year from the shipping date. Liability is strictly limited to the value of the item, with replacement, repair, or refund at the discretion of Competition Composites Inc.

Custom fabrications may be expected to require minor fitment adjustments at the installation site. Please provide CCI with accurate measurements as design input. Critical Dimensions should be identified.

Any design advice given by the employees of Competition Composites Inc. is given freely and in good faith and is not covered by any warranty. This includes the designs in our in-house portfolio. If this is a concern you are encouraged to hire the services of a professional design firm.

All sales are F.O.B. our workshop. This sale is made subject to the laws of Ontario and any disputes/actions arising from this will be settled in Ottawa, ON

Shipping

You will only be billed the actual cost of shipping. Shipments are sent fully insured unless otherwise requested.

No Canadian taxes are charged on international shipments.

All orders are F.O.B. Arnprior, Ontario, Canada. In short, you own it once it goes on the truck. Claims for loss or damage are between you and the carrier, although of course CCI will do everything they can to help.

Standard packaging for rudders and similar products is a custom built plywood crate. Other products may be shipped in cardboard, or on pallets, depending on size and fragility. Be sure to discuss your options at time of quotation.

To estimate your shipping costs, take the overall length / width / depth of your product, and after allowing for packaging, enter the values into the rate calculator for the appropriate courier service (most products ship based on volume rather than actual weight). Use the postal code K7S 3M3 as originating address if asked.

Canada and United States

Unless otherwise instructed, parcels are sent by UPS (www.ups.ca). You have your choice of Ground or Expedited services. Ground costs less, but they charge an import brokerage fee to the US that is waived if the parcel is sent Expedited.

Parcels too large for UPS may go by freight forwarder. If shipping to the United States you will be required to provide your tax number for import brokerage purposes.

Overseas

We will work with you to find the most cost effective option for shipping overseas.    Larger packages can go by freight forwarder – either air freight or surface – at reasonable cost.
