Thistle Centerboard
A wood and lead centerboard of maximum thickness, conforming to Thistle class rules. The lead ballast is situated to reduce pitching moment as much as possible under the rules. The amount of lead ballast required make these very time consuming to construct, hence the somewhat higher price. The end result is a good stiff board of a fast shape.
