We are all sailors at CCI, and as such have a healthy interest in running our own boats (Fireball, 505, I-14, Aussie 18, Moth, Open Bic, Y-Flyer to name a few), but are also actively engaged in boat design and building.

Our commercial offerings include:
i550 sportboat kit
We have supplied rudders, keel struts, and spars for this boat. We have a fantastic carbon fiber mast design available. Please see our brochure for our full list of i550 offerings.
Kayak Outrigger
We developed this oversized kayak outrigger float for a customer that wanted additional safety on his sea kayak. We have the tooling and can build additional quantities on short notice, in your choice of gelcoat colors. We emphasize that these floats are large, at 66 inches long by 6 inches wide. They could be an ideal addition to your sailing conversion, or for added stability for those that use their sea kayaks when fishing. Or buy a pair and set up a lawnchair on pontoons for relaxing on the water! Construction is lightweight composite. Below are renderings from the design process, a photo of one of our fabricators holding the finished product, and a photo from the customer as he was experimenting with placement.
CCI Sea Flea
We decided to prove out our flat panel composite construction technique by building a simple sea flea: the MiniMax. Pictured below.

11′ Skiff Moth Shrinkage. This is Phil’s project boat that can be seen racing most weeks at Nepean Sailing Club and was designed and built entirely in-house. It loosely follows the rules of the defunct US Modern Moth class. Pictured above / Video below.
