Tanzer 22, Deep Rudder
One of our staff sails on a Tanzer 22 and we developed this design when his boat needed a new rudder. The planform is based on the “newer” Tanzer 22 rudder, but 4″ deeper.
Overall length 59.5″. This would be a good upgrade if your boat is the fixed-keel version. Built to original 2.125″ head thickness but can also be built to 1.5″ to accommodate more easily obtained fittings.

Tanzer 22, Shoal Depth Rudder
This design is based on the “newer” Tanzer 22 rudder shape, and is the choice you would want with a swing-keel model. Overall length 55.5″. Requires 2.125″ fittings but can be built to 1.5″ fittings on request.

Tanzer 28 Rudder
This design was provided by a client that wanted to modernize and simplify the shape, the original being somewhat unusual compared to more modern rudders. Fits the transom perfectly.
